On October 4th 2020, St. Francis of Assisi Day, I delivered my first homily for our service for my church. I will tell you I was so nervous, excited and freaking out. Why you ask? Well on September 2, 2020, I went back to volunteering at the Seniors Residence, King Place here in Midland Ontario. It has been a very long time since I was there last. We figured it out after the service I did at 10:30 am that it has been since March. For me that is a lifetime as I really enjoy my time there. I am back every two weeks doing a service. Well it has been a bit since I last posted. I will admit, I have been  busy with my studies with lots of reading and homework. I was never a great student and sometimes the struggle has been there. Especially last week, between the tough class and literally suffering cluster migraines all week long, not my best week. Good morning, I hope everyone is being safe and staying inside for the most part. I realize how hard it is to stay inside the whole time. We do need to get grocery’s and prescriptions. For me, this has been a bit trying. I am not allowed to go to the seniors home and do my volunteering. My volunteering has now been writing letters and making cards for the residents. I would rather this, than getting them ill. For Hospice Huronia, I am talking to my clients either by facetime or by phone. So this is all new for us…
